Golija Night Run

The most atmospheric race on the mountain: 8 kilometres through the forest by headlamp, starting at dusk from Golijska Reka. When the lamps go out at the finish, all that remains above Golija is a starry sky you forgot existed.

The course

A gentle loop with about 250 metres of climbing, suitable for running or a night hike. Mandatory gear: headlamp and windbreaker. The course is marked with reflective markers and marshals with lights stand at every junction.

After the race

Fireside gathering with tea, mulled wine and music — the finish line is only the beginning of the best part of the evening. Book accommodation early; this weekend traditionally fills up fast.
