Why Golija
Golija is the highest and most forested mountain of southwestern Serbia. Its ridges hide centuries-old spruce and fir forests, blueberry-covered pastures, crystal-clear rivers and villages where life still follows the old ways. In 2001 UNESCO declared Golija the first biosphere reserve in Serbia.
