Conquer the Highest Peak of Mount Golija – JANKOV KAMEN (1,833 m)

Every true hiker's wish is to conquer the peak of the mountain they are on. Through this tour, we enable you to do just that. Although it is now possible to reach the summit by vehicle, we still offer the traditional approach – an ascent to the top along mountain trails that barely touch the asphalt road. The starting point of the route is at Odvraćenica, and from there, an easy 11-kilometer walk awaits us to the highest peak of Golija, at an altitude of 1,833 meters. Our starting point is at 1,600 m above sea level, and on the way to the summit, we will encounter beautiful forests, breathtaking views, springs, and nature that leaves you speechless.

For the return, we can either take the same trail we came by – another 11 kilometers, gathering an incredible 22 kilometers of hiking by the end of the day – or we can simply arrange a vehicle to take you back to the starting point from the opposite direction.
